York City FC
York City Football Club have a rich, giant-killing history spanning over 100 years. They needed a fresh website that incorporated ticketing, merchandising and key stakeholder information.
Moded’s Senior Digital Consultant Mike Brown was the club’s volunteer Commercial Director during the 2003/04 and 2022/23 seasons. In 2023, the club were advised that their previous website had come to the end of its life and would no longer be supported.
We set about designing and building a content-rich, one-stop shop for supporters who had previously had to use three separate websites for general information, ticketing and merchandising. Working to an extremely tight deadline, the website was launched in August 2023 after just two months in development.

Kit Launch Promo Video
As part of the website launch we produced a video to promote the sale of 2023/24 season replica shirts by award-winning designer Christopher Payne.
Featuring 3D rendered versions of the shirt, this high energy video was deployed on the club’s social media channels and website, contributing to a massive uplift in shirt sales.
